Experience Majestic Georgia – 12 Days of Culture, Taste, Nature & Sea!!!

Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport

Day 1 – From the moment of your arrival, you’ll be greeted by your driver and the local company representative in the arrival area outside of the customs hall. you’ll be taken to your hotel for check-in and a short rest. Before conquering the gorgeous, mesmerizing nature of Georgia, you’ll experience your first day in the beautiful and charming Tbilisi. You’ll be introduced to the delicious and flavorful Georgian cuisine, accompanied by local traditional music and a welcoming atmosphere. After your big evening out, you’ll be headed to your hotel to rest overnight and prepare for tomorrow’s big tour in the capital!

Day 2 After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be greeted by your driver and the tour will start! Based on the location of your hotel the order of the destinations for you to see will vary, but you won’t miss any of the main destinations: 

  • Narikala Fortress – an antique, picturesque fortress overlooking the majority of Tbilisi. The walls of this fortress have seen many stories withstood countless enemies.
  • National Botanical Garden of Tbilisi City – Lush and green lungs of the city, with its clean spring water and even a waterfall!
  • The Sulfur Baths and the Old Tbilisi – The reason why the city was founded back in the 5th century. Clean, hot, and rich with minerals – steam coming out of the red brick domes and the sound of the Leghvtakhevi Waterfall in the distance. A truly magical atmosphere in the place that some centuries ago was only accessible for the kings and the members of the high society.
  • Metekhi Church – Built by the heroic King Vakhtang Gorgasali in the 5th century, with his statue dramatically overlooking the Mtkvari River.
  • Chardin Street – One of the oldest streets of Tbilisi! Abundant with fancy bars, cafes, restaurants, galleries, and music. One of the favorite meeting places for tourists and locals. Named in honor of the renowned French artist, Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin. 
  • Peace Bridge –  Futuristic steel & glass bridge over the Kura River, linking the Rike Park with Old town in central Tbilisi.

The Birthplace of the Man of Steel, Ancient Cave Complex, and One-of-a-Kind Nature!

Day 3 (covid test day) – After your breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be picked up by your driver and ready to be off to the Birthplace of Iron Man – Gori! The road to Gori will take only take one hour and a half. Once in the city, you’ll get a chance to visit the notorious Stalin Museum! The socialist menace himself was born and raised in this cozy little town. Up next, we’ll have an incredible Uplistsikhe Cave Complex just twenty minutes away from Gori. The cherry, to suit the top of this eventful day, will be the arrival to mother nature’s finest – Borjomi (just one hour and twenty-minute road).

Day 4 – The true pearl of the wilderness – Borjomi! Take in the atmosphere of this magical, crystal-clear, and fairytale-like gem hidden between the mighty mountains. With its renowned national park and one-of-a-kind flora, Borjomi will be one of the most memorable parts of your adventure! After your morning walk, you’ll be headed to the ancient Fortress of Rabati!

Day 5 (Optional) – Now, our dear guests, It’s time to go up to the mountains. The next destination – Bakuriani! (35 mins). Find yourself in an embrace of the mountains surrounding this magical place from all sides, on an elevation of 1,700 meters above sea level. Bakuriani has a lot more to offer, other than its world-renowned winter ski season. Here you’ll have another opportunity to experience the vicinage to mother nature. Due to the high quality of the ski tracks, Bakuriani already hosted numerous international ski and snowboarding competitions and recently was chosen to host the 2023 Freestyle Ski, Snowboard, and Freeski World Championships!!!

The Black Sea and Its Wonders!

Day 6 – It’s time to hit the longest road yet! Want to experience being in the great mountains and on the alluring seashore on the same day? – Few countries possess this type of mind-blowing natural richness and fortunately for you, Georgia is one of them! A mere five-hour road is all it takes for you to have this marvelous adventure. Once you made it to the pearl of the Black Sea – Batumi, all that’s left for you is to let the city of the night inspire and awe you.

Day 7 –Enjoy your first morning in the seaside paradise. This grand city was all but just a fishing village just a century ago, but now is a proud capital of Adjara municipality and one of the favorite destinations for tourists! Also, the local cuisine is one of the most popular across the country and with tourists. The city of the night will have a lot to show you:

  •  The statue of Ali and Nino – This moving sculpture representing a tragic love story between two characters. Inspired by the famous Azerbaijani writer Kurban Said’s Novel of the same name. The sculpture was created by extremely talented Georgian artist Tamar Kvesitadze.
  • The Alphabet Tower – Dedicated to honoring the distinct and unique Georgian alphabet. 
  • Batumi Dolphinarium and Aquarium – Get the chance to see the famous Batumi Dolphin show! As many times as I’ve personally seen these wonderful creatures, the level of excitement I get watching them perform can’t be described with words. Every time they make me fall in love with the city a new. 
  • Batumi Boulevard – A seven-kilometer-long undisputed visiting card of the city! Abundant with parks, nature, dancing fountains, wedding houses, monuments, museums, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, and much more!
  • Europe square / Batumi Centre – One eye-catching detail after another. This city sometimes feels overwhelming with the sheer amount of awesome architectural pieces and monuments!

Day 8 –The next day you’ll be able to continue your exploration of the neat and cozy streets and the massive boulevard of the city. This day will truly special – it’s time to see what’s going on beyond the city!

  • Tkhilnari  Waterfall – You’ll take a short half-hour road trip to get a closer look at the heartlands of Adjara, with one of the most beautiful natural monuments in the region – Tkhilnari Waterfall! The distinct sub-tropical nature of Adjara has a lot of surprises prepared for you,
  • Batumi Botanical Garden (optional) – One of the largest botanical gardens in the former Soviet Union! located on Mtsvane Kontskhi just nine kilometers away from Batumi. It boasts an impressive showcase of sub-tropical flora and beautiful panoramas onto the Black Sea.

The Journey Back to Tbilisi

Day 9 – Time to say your goodbyes to the city of the night. There’s another long road ahead but with one important break on the three-hour mark, you’ll approach the former historical capital of Georgia – Kutaisi. This town is surrounded by stunning natural monuments:

  • Sataplia Cave – The now dormant volcano that turned into  900 meters long cave. Sataplia is one of the most visited caves across all Caucasus and boasts an impressive reserve of dinosaur footprints and relics of our prehistoric past.
  • Prometheus Cave – Do you want to take a boat ride on an underground river? – this massive 11 km long cave system with 22 halls, out of which only six are available for tourists is a sight to behold. Prometheus cave is a part of the same enormous underground system as Sataplia and is mind-blowing by its gigantic proportions. 
  • Martvili Canyon – Enjoy an unforgettable 300-meter long boat ride in the fascinating Martvili
  • Okatse Canyon – The views that will stick with you for the rest of your life – that’s my humble promise.

Day 10 – Time to hit the road for the last major section. You’ll have a chance to catch up if you missed any wonderful destinations around Kutaisi and Then will be time, with memories collected and unforgettable experiences had… time to get back to the Capital!

Day 11 – And here we are. What a journey it has been? So much history, culture, nature, and emotions are experienced and shared. Some peaceful time to contemplate and think about this small country with a big heart. There’s one last voyage left, the cherry on top if you will… The former capital Mtskheta, just half-hour away from the city – A quick tour followed by a visit to Tbilisi malls and shopping centers to get you some sweet deals on the souvenirs for memory. Rest up, tomorrow is the day that we will have to say our “au revoir”.
