Tourism and Packages in Georgia
Direct answers about Georgia tour packages: price, hotels, car, driver, customization, families and winter trips.
Are the listed tour packages fixed or customizable?
They are strong starting points, not rigid templates. We adjust each package by season, arrival and departure time, traveler count, children’s ages, hotel level and budget. A good itinerary should fit the traveler, not force the traveler into a template.
Is the displayed price the final price?
The displayed price is a base price to understand the package level. Final price is confirmed after travel dates, number of travelers, hotel level, vehicle type and preferred currency. This is clearer than a pretty number followed by surprises.
What does a tour package usually include?
Each package is clarified separately: car or driver, airport transfer, selected tours, and sometimes hotels if the offer is inclusive. We do not assume everything is included. The final offer clearly lists included and excluded items.
Are hotels included in the price?
Not always. Some clients prefer booking hotels themselves, while others want a full package. The offer can be with or without hotels. The important part is confirming hotel area and level before final pricing.
Do I need a private driver in Georgia?
Inside Tbilisi, apps and light walking may be enough. For day trips outside the city, a private driver makes the day easier, especially for families, mountains, Kakheti and Kutaisi. We do not sell the car as luxury; we use it when it protects time and comfort.
What is the best package for families?
Families need a calmer itinerary: well-located hotel, comfortable car, fewer long distances and smart stops. Seven to ten days often works well depending on age and budget. More cities do not always mean a better family trip.
Is snow guaranteed in winter packages?
Snow depends on season, weather and resort conditions. We plan winter packages with clear alternatives: Gudauri or Bakuriani when conditions fit, and Tbilisi or other options if weather changes. Snow is not promised like a switch.
Should I choose 7 days or 10 days?
Seven days suits a focused first trip: Tbilisi, a nearby destination and maybe one mountain day. Ten days gives more room for Batumi, Kutaisi or Borjomi. For families or honeymoon trips, extra days make the trip more comfortable.
Can the package cost be reduced?
Yes, without damaging the trip. Cost can be reduced by fewer cities, simpler hotels, a different vehicle or removing a far route. We avoid reducing price by overloading the day or choosing a poor hotel location.
How do I request a custom trip from Orient Cities?
Send travel date, number of travelers, children’s ages if any, days, hotel level, approximate budget and what you like: seaside, mountains, nature, shopping, history or rest. Then we build a clear plan and tell you honestly what fits and what does not.
